My name is Carmen Thompson, and I am absolutely passionate about lymphatic and lymphedema therapy and education. This is an extremely underserved area in the medical community. In fact, lymphedema treatments didn’t become prevalent in the United States until the 1980s. What a revelation! To think that this whole-body system finally received recognition for its importance 500 to 700 years after most anatomical studies were done and body systems recognized.

Although the site will focus primarily on lymphedema, there are many other applications for this therapy. It is great for sinus trouble, eczema, acne, wrinkles, cellulite, swelling due to surgeries and trauma, burns, swelling and numbness due to dental procedures, vertigo, tinnitus, general circulation/vascular support, and aids in the healing of chronic wounds and ulcerations by supporting the tissues.
